Ayurveda is one of India’s oldest and purest approaches to healing. It emphasizes prevention as the main aspect of healthcare. Ayurveda treatments, like allopathy, begins by assessing the patient's health. Your medical history, past diagnoses and key signs and symptoms are taken into account. Ayurveda in fact used both plant and animal based medicines in their treatments. Some meat such as chicken and mutton soup are even advised for some during treatment.

2. Ayurveda is Unscientific

Although many believe that Ayurveda has no scientific basis, this is very untrue! Research has shown significant correlations between the idea of the three doshas and our unique genomes. There has also been a significant amount of research done on medicinal herbs and plants used in Ayurveda. Modern Ayurvedic practitioners use modern diagnostic tools like MRI's, CT scans, blood reports and EEG charts to ensure an accurate diagnosis. Ayurveda has shown immense growth and flexibility in its ability to work in tandem with allopathy to heal.
